Pradeep Kar

Pradeep is the Founder, Chairman & Managing Director of Microland Limited, India's first Hybrid IT Infrastructure Services Provider and a trusted partner to global corporations in their IT-as-a-Service journey. Headquartered in Bangalore, India, Microland employs 3,400+ professionals across its offices in Australia, Europe, India, Middle East, North America and the UK.

A serial entrepreneur, Pradeep founded and sold 3 technology companies notable amongst them was, which he sold to Rupert Murdoch's News Corporation;, India's first Internet Professional Services Company and Net Brahma Technologies.

Pradeep served as a Non-Executive Director on the board of UBM plc, one of the world's leading business-to-business events organizers listed on the London Stock Exchange for 10 years from 2006 to 2016 and is on the Board of Telstra Telecommunications India and a member of the Provost's Council of Trinity College, Dublin. Pradeep is the Past President of The Indus Entrepreneurs (TiE), Bangalore Chapter and is the Founding Member of the Bangalore Chapter of the Young Presidents Organization. Pradeep also chairs the Infrastructure Management Services Forum of NASSCOM, the apex body of the Indian Software & Services industry.

Pradeep has been recognized with numerous accolades; notable among these is the Indian Express 'India Young Business Achiever Award' as well as being selected by the World Economic Forum as a 'Global Leader for Tomorrow'. He has been featured in Newsweek International as 'Stars of Asia' and in Business India as 'Stars of India'.

He holds a postgraduate degree in Management and a graduation degree in Mechanical Engineering.
