Srishti School of Art, Design and Technology

Over this past month, we were blessed by a group of brave,adventurous, and inspired 2nd year Srishti students. From Monday through Thursday, they pitched tents on the rolling hills of western Karnataka and truly enjoyed the beauty of the location and the challenge of designing/building with natural materials. Their curriculum basically consisted of learning from the Chakra apprentices and Jackson Porretta, then executing group challenges (building an earthen arch, designing and building earthen furniture), and they reported back to their school-mates this past monday with an installation and video.
