Health & Wellbeing

“SWASTHA” is the “Health & Wellness Team” at the Srishti School of Art Design and Technology.
SWASTHA stands for “Srishti Wellness Activities for STudents and STaff, Health for All “
The SWASTHA Mission Statement envisions a “Safe and Supportive Environment” for the Health and Wellbeing of all in the Srishti Community”

Holistic WELLNESS includes the Mind, Body, Spirit & the Soul. The various elements that constitute Health are :

Location of the wellness team
The wellness team is located on the 1st Floor of the N3 campus. It provides a safe and supportive environment where students can share / discuss their concerns in private.
It also includes the Sick Bay attended to by a Qualified Nurse.

The diverse Team members include:
MANJIRI -Prevention of disease, Promotion of health, Health care management
ANUPAMA-Primary health care & Hygiene
SUCHITRA- Learning support - Addressing barriers to Learning & Cognition
KALPANA-Process Oriented Psychology, Psychotherapy
JAISHRI-Emotional/Psychological wellbeing / Personal functioning
RUTH -Emotional concerns / Mental health / Student Wellbeing

PHYSICAL- Dr. MANJIRI /ANUPAMA
They are responsible for routine

  • Medical Check / up and General diagnostics
  • Primary Health Care Management
  • Collation of health data
  • Referrals to SICK BAY/ hospitals if needed.
  • Specific Referrals to other health professionals

The Promotion of health constitutes

Prevention & Support include

  • Promoting Health and Hygiene
